Schumacher bought the clock on June 19, 1820 for 1200 francs. It was an important regulator from a series of three pieces. Schumacher was one of the most important Breguet clock collectors. He bought at least twenty pieces from him.Good condition, slight wear on the lower part of the spine.

Berthelot was a chemist and member of the Académie des Sciences, and future Ministre de l'Instruction Publique and Affaires.
